As Mapkey has evolved over the last 15 years we have learned that leading with culture, and engaging individuals, is the most effective way to steward an integration.
It’s been this approach that has established Mapkey as an innovative, insightful and fearless voice in the M&A landscape.
Mapkey puts people first – so that everyone feels valued, heard, and integral to the process. With people as our priority, we mitigate fear and frustration, create collaboration, and optimize the talents of everyone involved.
Growth and change are a journey. We go all in with our clients because we know that change does not happen overnight.
It’s not business as usual. It’s business as new, unexpected, surprising, and energizing.
ABOUT
JENNIFER

Jen strives to shape and communicate strategy that drives breakthrough work while ensuring operational alignment and achievement of financial objectives. She does this by creating a culture of trust, belonging, resilience, and cohesion.
Jennifer has directed dozens of M&A integration efforts, led significant strategic transformations, facilitated many change management initiatives, and been the driving force behind numerous customer and employee experience program implementations. Throughout it all, she has remained entirely focused on supporting clients on their journeys to becoming stronger, better and more successful organizations, and always with people at the center.
In addition to being a widow, a wife, and the mother of 5 amazing human beings, she is also certified as a Mergers & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA), Mergers & Acquisitions Integration Expert (CM&AI), Change Management Professional (CCMP), Scrum Master (CSM), and as a Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP).
She is active in several organizations and groups including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA), the Mid-Market Alliance (MMA), the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) organization.
Jennifer Kirk didn’t grow up dreaming of starting her own company. She founded Mapkey because she had two young daughters at home who needed her and she thought going out on her own would give her plenty of “free time” – ha!
The struggle to survive, let alone succeed, gave her an enormous appreciation for everyone who was trying to breakthrough barriers and continue their evolutions. She realized that if she were to apply the best practices of the corporate world to businesses of all types and sizes then she would be able to make a real difference not only in the growth of a business, but also in the individuals who populate them.
After her first husband passed away unexpectedly in 2009, she was even more committed to helping all those she encountered to bravely navigate the challenging curvatures that invariably shape our journey through life.
What has resulted is a unique roadmap that focuses on change as a heroic journey and combines people with a proven process that leads to lasting transformation. In an M&A, where the value of a deal is won or lost by the
people who are expected to execute the strategy, making people the priority has not only proven to protect the investment that has been made, it has in many cases unlocked millions of dollars of unexpected value.
